3.    How does FSD+ work?

Radiancy’s Face Toning Device (FSD+) is great entry level device built on USA’s FDA approved mLHE (modified Light Heat Energy) technology.

Propioni Acne (P.Acne) bacteria causes acne inflammation. P.Acne lives in oil based environment and dies when exposed to oxygen. P.Acne synthesize and store a large amount of porphyrins. When porphyrin is exposed to visible light oxygen is formed. This cyto-toxic-singlet-oxygen combines with the P.acne cell membranes killing it in the process. The production of cyto-toxic-singlet-oxygen is dependent on the temperature and the wavelength of the photons. LHE uses three controlled parameters to cause the porphyrin to produce oxygen. Pulsing at 400-430nm (blue spectrum) which has clinically proven to the most effective in cyto-toxic-singlet-oxygen production. Blue spectrum itself does not penetrate well into the skin. LHE emits higher light spectrum including green (490-570nm), yellow (570-600nm) and red (620-750nm). LHE also emits heat energy between 40-65degrees Celsius. Combining direct heat with the light pulse, the temperature inside the follicle increases the chemical reaction. The generated heat also aids in reducing inflammation, opens pores and soothes the pain often associated with acne.

In clinical trials LHE has demonstrated up to 90% clearance of acne lesions after an 8 session, 4 week treatment course. The efficacy of LHE treatments depends on its reliability in producing the required photochemical reaction from porphyrin activation to oxygen production. This reliability is based on three controlled parameters, those of wavelength, temperature and overall concentration of photons.
